This will never happen in a fibreglass pool as the gel coating provides a soft smooth surface that will never graze your skin. Water temperature in a concrete pool is always colder due to the porous nature of the concrete, fibreglass pools will always be warmer therefore reducing the cost of heating your pool.

Yes, if you are after a unique shape for your pool then concrete will be able to provide that for you, however the more complex the shape, the more complex the engineering calculations etc. Most fibreglass moulds already have safety ledges, safety steps and entertainer seats incorporated, saving time and money.
